NFD introduces special modified Hepla® H900X high temperature nylon composite
Time:2019-03-14

NFD as a special modified plastic rookie, under the background of lightweight vehicles, NFD researchers have unremitting efforts to develop a new high-temperature nylon variety Hepla® H900X series materials, the high-temperature nylon is based on this A composite material obtained by poly-p-phenylene terephthalamide (PPA) special modification material, the new Hepla® H900X composite has a heat distortion temperature of 300 ° C or higher, a long-term use temperature of 180 ° C or higher, heat resistance and polyether ether. The ketone (PEEK) is equivalent, has a high mechanical structural strength, and is excellent in chemical resistance.

Application: Automotive lightweighting has always been the goal of major automakers, reducing vehicle energy consumption, reducing emissions, increasing brand competitiveness and protecting the environment. NFD Materials (PPA) special modified materials can be used in automotive chassis, engine covers, oil filters, switches and connectors, bearing cages, shaft forks, torque converters, turbocharger components Medium-pressure air-cooling gas end caps, pipes, and alternative metal die-casting parts.

Material characteristics: Hepla® H900X can withstand high loads and chemical resistance under high temperature conditions. Compared with metal and thermosetting plastics, the material is easy to process and is suitable for manufacturing complex and integrated functional parts. It has the characteristics of large design freedom, low weight and low noise. Hepla® H900X has better chemical resistance than PA66 and PA46, and is combined with special engineering plastics.

Phenyl sulfide (PPS) properties: dimensional stability, water absorption, thermal expansion coefficient is superior to other polyamide products, creep resistance, excellent electrical properties.

Specially modified materials promote the development of lightweight vehicles, increase the energy efficiency of automobiles, protect the environment, and promote the development of the industry.

NFD is committed to the research and development and production of special modified engineering plastics, providing engineering plastics difficult material solutions for various industries and creating greater value for customers.
