Causes of Low Gas
Time:2020-03-19

Gas is always produced in the production of injection molds, because plastics generate gas during the melting process at high temperatures. These corrosive gases are called gas. The lower the temperature of the plastic, the less gas is generated by the plastics engineer. The method is to prevent it from being produced, and the injection products that produce gas will show the following aspects:

Product appearance:

In general, when plastic particles have less water, if they are transparent, they will appear flowering (like white silver lines, showing irregular directions and shapes, and if they are filled with flowers, they have a certain directionality and the shape is similar. The two have different mechanisms), and even prone to air bubbles; if it is a non-transparent material, only flowering will generally occur. If there is more water, the rubber materials will not be mixed uniformly, and the injection molded products will appear obvious cracks and lack of rubber.

Product performance:

Because the moisture content of the material during the melting process cannot be completely melted, the internal stress of the product is large, and the non-structural components have little effect. If it is a structural component, the structure will be easily broken due to the structural stress. Coping strategy: Set the appropriate temperature and time for baking according to the plastic raw material to eliminate internal stress.

For injection molds:

The gas produced during the injection process makes the surface of the mold easy to corrode and rust. Therefore, only an exhaust mechanism can be added to the injection mold to allow the gas to be smoothly and smoothly excluded from the mold. The method of increasing exhaust is simple. There are the following:

The first is to split the product flow on the PL surface and open an exhaust groove at the end of the joint line position. Open as many places as possible. If the product is large, the exhaust depth can be appropriately deepened, even if it exceeds the product's plastic overflow value. Burr

The second is to make full use of the location of the ejector pin and the insert. The ejector pin and the insert are exhausted all around. Similarly, when the product is large and the insert is deep, the exhaust groove can be appropriately deepened.

The third is to make full use of the shape changes in the product structure, and do more inserts to open the exhaust.

Fourth, if there is no position on the mother mold side, and the trapped air is serious, you can increase the exhaust air inlet on the male mold side to solve the trapped air problem.

In response to the problems that have been confusing for many years in the injection molding industry, the product application engineer of Tianxian Industry and the R & D team of NFD have successfully developed low-gas gas nylon fiberglass reinforced halogen-free flame retardant materials. The problems that molding engineers and mold engineers have troubled for many years have doubled production efficiency. The specifications of low gas products are as follows:

Hepla® H7200 GF NH, Hepla® H7230GF NH, Hepla® H7235GF NH ... For more model information, please click to contact the engineer of Skyaxe Industry. At the same time, colleagues are welcome to correct me and provide more application clues.
