LATENE compounds are base on homopolymer PP, a resin created in 1954 in the Insutrial Chemical Lab at Polytechnic of Milan, where the methylic group replaces with hydrogen atom in the same polymeric chain used to obtain PE. Homopolymeric version is stiffer and mechanically stronger than copolymeric version.
