LUVOCOM® PPS

LUVOCOM®PPS series materials are sulfur-containing aromatic polymers. The molecular main chain contains phenylsulfide-based thermoplastic engineering plastics. Linear PPS cross-links above 350 ° C to form thermoset plastics. Branch-chain structure PPS is thermoplastic. Temperature: 300-330 ° C.

It is a thermoplastic special engineering plastic with excellent comprehensive properties. Its Chinese name is polyphenylene sulfide. It is hard and brittle, has high crystallinity, flame resistance, good thermal stability, high mechanical strength, excellent electrical properties, and chemical resistance. Strong sexual advantages. The thermal deformation temperature of glass fiber modified materials is generally greater than 260 degrees, and the chemical resistance is second only to polytetrafluoroethylene.

In addition, LUVOCOM® PPS series materials also have small molding shrinkage, low water absorption, and good fire resistance. Good impact fatigue resistance, strong arc resistance, etc., especially at high temperatures. Good electrical insulation in high humidity environments. However, its disadvantages are large brittleness, poor tolerance, and low shock resistance. After conversion, the above disadvantages can be overcome and very excellent comprehensive performance can be obtained.
