Delrin® (POM)

DuPont ™ Delrin® homoformaldehyde resin is a highly crystalline thermoplastic engineering plastic. It is a designated material in many industries for high-load mechanical applications. It is widely used in gears, automotive safety belt systems, door systems, conveyor belts, medical devices, and Components for different products in various industries. Delrin® (formerly known as Polyoxymethylene, abbreviated as POM) has outstanding low friction and abrasion resistance, while also having the rigidity and strength equivalent to that of metal.
