One of PEEK's higher performance thermoplastics, second only to Solvay's Torlon® PAI. Its chemical resistance is close to that of PPS (polyphenylene sulfide), but PEEK can be used at higher temperatures and still maintain its outstanding mechanical properties at continuous use temperatures up to 240 ° C (464 ° F). In addition, KetaSpire® PEEK has: better fatigue resistance; 20% higher impact strength; 60% higher ductility.
